Money-back Guarantee - Terms and Conditions

We guarantee that your accounts package will pay for itself, provided that certain terms and conditions are met as set out below.

If a package does not pay for itself, we will refund the difference, as defined below. This guarantee is offered in good faith – We don’t want Business Guardian to be a waste of your money.

If you want to enforce our money-back guarantee, you must agree measure(s) of the value of the options you choose with us before purchase. If we have not agreed these measures in advance, we will not be liable for any refunds.

We cannot be held liable for failure that is outside our control. For example, it is your responsibility to ensure that any tools we provide are used correctly.

The limit of our liability shall be the initial cost of your package. It excludes any on-going support charges that you choose to incur.

If you are given a full refund, then you must erase all copies of any software files from your computers and you will no longer have the right to use them.

We agree to refund the difference between the initial cost of the package and the gains or savings you have made according to the measures agreed between us before commencement of the project. (We would normally expect your gain to be much higher than the cost of the package!)

Telephone Helpline - Fair-use Conditions

Free use of the telephone helpline is included for the first year only. The maximum free use included in any given calendar month is 10 hours. You can use the helpline for more than this, but you will be charged at £1 per minute for extra time. We would always tell you before any charges became due.

The normal hours of operation of the helpline are 9:00-4:00 Monday - Friday (not on public holidays). We do not guarantee to answer your call in person, but an answering machine will enable you to leave us a message otherwise. We will respond to any messages as quickly as we can.

The helpline is available to named contacts at your business only. We will endeavour to help you ourselves or direct you elsewhere otherwise, but we cannot guarantee to solve all problems.

The helpline offers advice only. We cannot be held liable for any damage done as a result of that advice.

We recommend that you keep regular back-ups of your computer files always.
